So finally, talk of the town HTC One X is in the market. For an android loving high end customer it is a very good choice. With Quad core processor, Ice Cream Sandwich android version HTC has put up all its best to make phone great and how successful it has been this time, we will take the look at phone step by step to get you an overview.
General:
Generally speaking the phone works on all the GSM modes and the ones available in US. HTC One X comes with 8MP camera which is quite impressive and can record videos at 1080p.
Build:
The phone's build is attractive at 134.4 x 69.9 x 8.9mm. HTC One X is quite light at 130g. There are standard android buttons on main screen for navigation. There is a micro usb port for charging the phone. Battery is easy to take out. Curvy looks and feel of the phone at its edges give HTC One X a great design. HTC One X is available in Grey and White colors.
Display:
At 1280x720 pixels, HTC One X display is simply brilliant for a phone. Whether you are browsing web or watching videos, it is a very good experience. There is rich Super IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen with 16M colors. The phone comes with very good touchscreen, you will like the touch of the phone, and it’s very immersive and liquid. So, on the basis of display size coupled with a good touch, display is good. Gaming Experience is also great on HTC One X.

Software:
HTC One X is running at latest android version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and its really great. The phone’s software is bundled with new HTC 4.0 Sense and HTC has simply rocked with this interface, though it may get you some time to be used to with it but soon, you will forget every other phone in the market. GPS is also there with A-GPS support.
Hardware:
Phone is a formula one champion racer with its 1.5 GHz Quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. In less than blink of an eye, HTC One X does the job. Scrolling through applications, launching them, playing games, browsing web, shooting videos, images so on and so forth is simply awesome. Sensors in this phone include Accelerometer, Proximity, Gyro and Compass. There is also TV out port via MHK A/V Link. The bad thing is support of only Micro SIM card so; you need to cut your SIM to fit in the phone
Sound:
Music Lovers will love this phone. HTC One X has beats audio which will make your music experience to a new level. HTC One X has active noise cancellation with built in microphone. Availability of Stereo FM Radio with RDS is another plus.
Memory:
HTC One X comes with massive 32GB on board memory. There is no slot for SD card which is quite disappointing. HTC one X has 1GB of Ram in it.
Camera:
There is mind blasting 8MP camera coming with this phone so you can shoot at maximum resolution of 3264 X 2448 pixels in still image mode with auto focus and LED Flash and video can be recorded in 1080p Full High Definition with stereo sound recording and video stabilization. Availability of secondary camera is also very pleasing and you can do video chat as well as video conferencing. Camera also includes the features of Geo-Tagging, Face and Smile Detection and Image Stabilization. Shoot in Burst mode and you will know how great is this phone’s camera and speed.
Web Experience:
With android smartphones, the best thing I like is the ability to browse web with full flash support which is not there in iPhones. HTC One X is a wonder to browse web. There are widgets on the main home screen on which you can store your webpage tabs to access them directly. It also comes with built in Flash Player 10.1 to make your browsing experience even better. Big screen size makes it a very good book reader. It is a truly unique experience to use web on HTC One X.
Connectivity:
There are all connectivity options available in this phone when it comes to GSM based connections, GPRS, EDGE, Wifi connectivity, Bluetooth version 4.0 options are available. To connect to computer it has micro usb 2.0 connectivity.
Battery:
Battery in HTC One X is around average. At 1800mAH, it provides just okay standby time but not much talk-time. The stand by time on HTC One X is expected to be 400H. Talk time on HTC One X would be around 6 Hours. Watching High Definition Video content, it will last for 3.5 Hours.
Verdict:
HTC One X is simple the best android phone in the market. Not only in android it outperforms every rival in industry so, this phone is really worth buying and using as a smartphone.
